Representatives of the Euro-Arab Foundation have presented the 'TAKEDOWN' H2020 project at the General Conference of the Standing Group on Organised Crime, a team of researchers in organised crime belonging to the European Consortium for Political Research. The third edition of this event took place on 5 and 6 July at the University of Sofia (Bulgaria).

The Euro-Arab Foundation attended a working meeting in Toulouse on 4 June called by the consortium of SAT-LAW (Strategic Evaluation for Judicial and Police Cooperation), the European research project addressing the European Criminal Investigation Order, funded by the Directorate-General for Justice of the European Commission.

The Euro-Arab Foundation meets in Granada its partners of the European project MI-ICT

On 6 and 7 May, the Euro-Arab Foundation hosted at its headquarters in Granada, a meeting with the partners of the MI-ICT project (ICT Enabled Public Services for Migration), funded by the Horizon 2020 program of the European Union. This research project seeks to improve the access of migrants and refugees to public services, through the development of tools based on Information and Communication Technologies.

International Seminar "Radicalization and violent extremism"

The Euro-Arab Foundation for Higher Studies hosts the I International Seminar "Radicalization and violent extremism: maps, contexts and responses" on the 9th and 10th April. The seminar is organised by the Euro-Arab Foundation and the University of Granada in the framework of TAKEDOWN, TRAINING AID and COMBERAD, the European projects aimed at professionals, students and researchers interested in radicalisation processes, their prevention and responses.

Debate in the Euro-Arab on the challenges migrants face in accessing public services

On 2, 3 and 4 April, the first focus groups within the framework of the European MI-ICT project took place at the Euro-Arab Foundation. The event was attended by migrants, researchers, civil servants and NGOs from the sector in order to identify and understand the challenges of immigrant integration. The MI-ICT project aims to facilitate the integration of migrants and refugees through the development of tools based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Experts debate at the Euro-Arab Foundation on judicial coordination and cooperation in Europe

The Euro-Arab Foundation brings together a large group of researchers, prosecutors and front-line professionals from the European police and judicial field, within the framework of SAT-LAW, a research project which deals with judicial coordination and cooperation for criminal investigations in the European Union. The SAT-LAW project is developed by a consortium involving the Euro-Arab Foundation and the University of Granada together with institutions and research centres from 8 European countries.
