ARMOUR organizes this conference on preventing radicalization, violent extremism and promoting resilience, as the closing of the activities of this European project that began its work in 2019 by a consortium led by the Euro-Arab Foundation and made up of nine organizations from eight European countries.

The Conference is aimed at front-line professionals: academics, scientists and politicians, who address issues related to the causes and ways of preventing radicalization. Offered in virtual format, this forum will present the achievements of this European project that for two years has been working with minors and young people susceptible to social polarization due to the adoption and dissemination of extremist ideologies.

It is organized together with other six ISF-P European Commission Funded projects under the same  “Radicalisation” line. The objective of developing this closing activity together with other projects is to share the results obtained in the cooperation network that has been created to work together and achieve greater incidence and impact at the European level.  

The projects of this network are:

AMOUR is a project funded by the European Union´s Internal Security Fund-Police and made up by a consortium led by the Euro-Arab Foundation (Spain) in wich nine institutions from eight European countries participate: the Centre for Security Studies - KEMEA (Greece), the 'Mihai Viteazul  (Rumanía);SYNYO GmbH (Austria); the Italian Ministry of Justice, Agenfor International (Italy); Fondatsiya Libre (Bulgaria), the University of Malta (Malta) and the University of Groningen (Netherlands).
