Natural materials, such as iron, wood, pigments, etc., will be used during the workshop in order to capture and discover ancestral geometric shapes proper of the Amazigh craftsmanship.
The workshop will be imparted by the artist Khalid Assallami (Agadir, Morocco) who belongs to the family Mourabih, who, by turn, are well-known in the world of painting and theatre and totally devoted to cinema.
The workshop is a complementary activity to the exhibition of the same artist, IGUMDAN-Renaissance of a Shared Myth, which will be inaugurated at the Library next Thursday, 19 May, 2016.
The workshop will take place on 31 May and 1 June, 2016, from 18h00 to 20h00, with the following program:
Tuesday 31: layout and engravings
Wednesday 1: wood painting
