The Research Forum on the Arab and Muslim World (FIMAM, by its acronym in Spanish) is organizing its 23th meeting on December 13h-14th, 20219, at the Euro-Arab Foundation (FUNDEA), in Granada (Spain), in collaboration with the University of Granada (UGR).

Seminar on “Youth and Prevention of Radicalization in Morocco”

This Tuesday, the Euroarab Executive Department will present the different actions carried out by the European project called ARMOUR, at the seminar on "Youth and Prevention of Radicalization in Morocco”, Casa Árabe organization and CIDEAL Foundation in Madrid. Throughout this meeting, experiences of interest and possible contributions from international cooperation will be analyzed.

Interview with Karen Armstrong, Princess of Asturias Award for Social Sciences 2017

We speak with Karen Armstrong, a British writer and expert on religions, who was awarded the Princess of Asturias Prize for Social Sciences in 2017. In a context of exacerbated nationalisms, identity crises and extremist discourses, the British author proposes a great interreligious or universal interspiritual pact that puts Compassion at the centre of human relations and between communities.

Inauguration of the Conference "Debates on Imperfect Peace"

The President of the University of Granada inaugurates this Tuesday, 12 May, the International Conference on "Debates on Imperfect Peace", which will be held from 12 to 14 May, 2016. The conference will include the participation of prominent, well-known figures, among whom are Federico Mayor Zaragoza, Heather Fryer, Isabella S.C. Scanderbeg, Pierluigi Consorti and Margarita Sanchez Romero.
